How to Resetting The Roadrunner Email Password?

 Well, hello. I see you’ve been trying to reset your Roadrunner email password. Did you forget your existing one? Or you’re unable to access it? Well, don’t worry, we’re all in the same boat. However, resetting email password can be a little tricky when it comes to Roadrunner because as you might’ve experienced, this option is not as convenient as the ‘forgot password’ option of other mail services. Well, don’t worry. You’ve reached the right destination because we’re going to take you through this process very easily. 

Resetting The Roadrunner Email Password

But before we begin, take a moment to note that the procedure for Roadrunner email password reset is different for the first time setting and for the setting of the already reset password. So, if you are also big time forgetters like us, you might want to wait for a few lines before we start with your procedure. Let’s get to work, shall we?

Resetting password for the first time:

Go to the URL tab of your preferred search engine and enter https://pt.rr.com/.

A window asking you to select one of the two given options will open. Choose ‘I do not know my email password’ option. Enter your email address in the text box that appears and click on submit.

The window will now ask you to enter your cable modem ID (MAC address). It is an alphanumeric address (skipping the intermediate dashes) made up of 12 characters to give a unique identity to your modem. If you don’t know how to identify your MAC address, you can go through your search manual or search online for the steps. After entering, click on submit.

You will now be required to select a verification question. Choose the one you prefer from the list shown and enter the answer. Note that your answer is case sensitive, just like your password, so make sure you remember it. Or better yet, save it somewhere because you might need it if you forget your password again. Click on submit.

After you’ve submitted your answer to the verification question, click on the reset  password option. Now, a password of about 8 characters will be generated on its own.  Record and save this.

Log in to your account using this generated password. After you’ve successfully logged in, you can change the password as per your convenience. Remember it and keep it saved somewhere. 

Roadrunner email password reset after prior reset:

Go to the URL tab of your preferred search engine and enter https://pt.rr.com/.

A window asking you to select one of the two given options will open. Choose ‘I do not know my email password’ option. Enter your email address in the text box that appears and click on submit.

Now, you will be asked to enter the answer to the security question that you submitted while resetting your password the first time. Remember that Roadrunner is case sensitive so make sure you’re extra careful while entering. 

Once you’ve submitted your answer,  an automatic password will be generated. Save it and log in to your account using the same.

Change the password once you’ve successfully logged in.
